This course helped me a lot! First, I really enjoyed the format of the course, especially working toward a goal. The course was very challenging for me, but Ms Moussu gave me several opportunities and tools to make me successful. I really learned stuff I can apply later. Specifically, the interview, webpage, and all the other papers. The class was great!

 

I thought that all the projects were helpful. I was disappointed by the interview project. It may be helpful to alert the students even further in advance. My professional didn't email me back and as luck would have it, I had a face to face opportunity only a week bfore. The majority of the problem was my difficult subject but my bad luck didn't help.

 

I think as far as teaching professional, research-oriented writing goes, it was successful. It made me realize how much I miss creative writing! In all seriousness, it was a good class and I learned a lot.

 

The course was organized very clearly, and the order that we read chapters in our texbook provided a great flow to the class. Everything was great! ... But make sure assignments on the website are exactly what you want. The discrepancies this year clst me some homework points...

 

Did not like using APA style, I found it very confusing and the manyal was very overwhelming. Overall I enjoyed the class and found it to be beneficial. I also just wanted to say that the chocolate was absolutely delicious!

Ms Moussu treats everyone in her class with respect. She is available to students when they have questions and comments effectively. I enjoyed having her as a teacher.

 

I really enjoyed this course. I was dreading English coming into college but you made it bearable. The only advice I have is that you spend less time in peer review because college students are lazy and never use all that time. Thank you for being a great professor.

 

I think the setup you used for the semester was very good. The idea of using one topic continuously makes the learning experience deeper and more meaningful.

 

Pizza and chocolate days were the best!
