Its Project - 2!!! I started off with the project with just one thing in my mind - to give my best . At first getting a topic was a problem. I had a lot of topics in mind but then narrowed down to a broad topic!!!....I choose to write on the Diversity in India. The first conference helped me to narrow down furthur. I now am working on the outline of my project. The kind of apprehension i had when i started with the project has died down a bit. Well...if u guys have any idea you would like to share on Diversity in India please let me know!!!

It takes a lot of time for me to write a paper. For this project, even though only three drafts were due, it took me five or six drafts to finally be satisfied with my paper. Since English isnt my first language my first draft was nonsense it probably had a few good ideas that were not developed. The second problem i faced was working on an introduction. A good introduction is always important. as it would make the reader want to read the paper. it took me a few attempts to create a decent introduction for this project. This project was a good experience, firstly because i havnt written on a topic which required me to draw out my experiences in writing, frankly i never really thought about it, writing this paper helped me elicit experiences that i had forgotten. While writing this paper i realized how my writing has improved gradually through my experiences. Even though completeing this project was extremely time consuming and for a few days i didnt want to go near a computer, im still glad that i did it.
It is my first project in english at purdue. I wanted it to be good. I first penned down all my ideas for about one hour and then went about organising them. I always feel that a good introduction to my essay would help me go on with it. so i spent extra time on my introduction. i had lots to write about. When i first got all my thoughts together, it was about 1800 words!! but then i sat down and organised it and got it down to 100 words. It was not hard writing because i was writing about my experiences. I had my audience in mind when i wrote my essay. I covered experiences throughout my life. The first draft just had my ideas. The second draft was more organised but had grammatical errors but the final draft was complete. I had fun doing my firstproject and hope to get a good grade!!!
