A trip... with Molli, to Holland and Belgium. Top left picture is of Bruges, in Belgium, which is one of the cutest cities in Europe, aka the Little Venice of the North! The delicious Belgian waffles, the divine chocolate, and the beautiful lace were a delight! The bottom picture is of Amsterdam, the barges on the Amstel, which have addresses and running water and all... In Holland (or I should say The Netherlands sorry), we stayed with a very nice lady and her brother, who were friend of another very nice lady who  was the sister of a French teacher at BYU who taught me some Dutch before I went there because he was Dutch himself, even though he spoke old French better then I did! Did you follow? This very nice teacher also talked to my ESL students about The Netherlands once, it was wonderful, he told them everything about cheese, the queen, the tulips, drugs, the EU... we all loved it! And I really liked the Netherlands too!

The picture on the right was taken in Mexico, the day I had to leave the US just to get my I-20 stamped again because the Canadians had not done it right... but turned out the Mexicans were not able to do it right either so hey, I went to Ecuador next! I went to 7 different countries in TWO MONTHS that summer: France, Switzerland, Canada, the US, Mexico, Colombia, and Ecuador! I went to Mexico with my good friend Kiffany (behind me on the donkey) who had relatives living in San Diego who took us very kindly for the weekend and gave us a tour of Tijuana. Now I love to watch the movie Traffic and remember that weekend.
